Vector Insurance Services proudly supports various local Australian organisations that work to help change the lives of individuals, families and communities for the better.
The Insurance Advisernet Foundation was established in 2015 with the intention the consolidate the considerable goodwill within the network and support organisations that we really believe in. Foundation funds are raised through the efforts of the Insurance Advisernet Authorised Representative network, staff and corporate supporters. Insurance Advisernet then matches this dollar for dollar. In 2017 we donated over $350,000!
The Trustee for the Insurance Advisernet Foundation (ABN 61 443 820 753) has received approval from the ATO. Funds or goods will only be distributed to organizations with an ATO Charity Status or an approved Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).
The Black Dog Institute (BDI) is a charity that is close to my heart. They are the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan.
I have had a the pleasure of being involved with numerous charity events supporting the Black Dog over the past 7 years. A major charity partner for BDI is TourXOz.
I have been involved in Charity rides in 2017 (Perth to Broome), 2019 (Cairns to Cape York) and 2020 (Wollombi) riding over 2,000 km and raising over $15,000 for mental health research and awareness.
Established in 1924, Royal Far West is one of Australia’s most respected charities. They are dedicated to connecting country kids and their families to the developmental care they need and consistently adapt to meet the changing health needs in rural and remote communities. RFW offer services at their Centre for Country Kids in Manly, as well as virtually via Telecare, and in local communities.
Royal Far West’s Ride for Country Kids has been cycling through the countryside for the last six years with a cohort of dedicated and committed riders. In that time, RFW have raised over $2.5m.
I have been lucky enough to be on 5 of the last 6 rides and rode over 1,500 km raising over $18,000 for Country kids. It is a charity that I am very proud to be a part of.
